Social Media Manager

Our clients are social savvy. Which means we need someone savvier. Someone who can lead a team but also collaborate with a team. Who can manage clients and manage a content calendar. Who has the skills, knowledge and leadership needed to grow our clients’ influence, our in-house talent and our social capabilities. (Also, must be kind.)

We work in a loft-like space in historic Valley Junction within walking distance of several locally-owned restaurants. (Acai bowl, anyone?) And we’re very passionate about what we do—but we’re also passionate about our hobbies, too—so we make time for both.  

Our senior-level team is serious about our work (clients like that) without having serious egos (we like that).  

Did we mention we have a patio upstairs that we frequent on Fridays? ‘Cause we do.

Duties:
+ Create content calendars, schedule and manage Hootsuite
+ Develop social media strategies and campaigns
+ Collaborate with creative team to develop engaging posts and content
+ Manage all social media pages, including: posts, comments and direct messages
+ Target audiences, buy ads, promote posts, and manage budgets
+ Optimize analytics: Ability to tie social media metrics and business metrics together to give an overall view of the company’s social media performance against business goals
+ Client contact and responsible for meeting client deadlines and expectations
+ Research and anticipate social media trends to stay ahead of the curve
+ Research platform updates, algorithm changes, etc.
+ Implement best practices across all platforms
+ Ability to assist with post writing and design as needed
+ Other duties as assigned

+ Expert on social media best practices, implementation and metrics
+ Curious and adaptable
+ Exceptional creativity and innovation
+ Excellent analytical skills
+ Excellent time management and organizational skills
+ Accuracy and attention to detail
+ An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
+ Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
+ Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, social media marketing, or related field is preferred
+ 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing is required
