People have strong feelings about animals. Just ask our dogs. So it makes sense that people would have strong feelings about the nutrition their animals eat, too. That’s why people also tend to love Kent and Blue Seal Feeds. So much so that the brands’ Facebook pages often receive stories about how Kent feed literally saved the lives of customers’ animals.
What do we do with these stories? We seize the opportunity to make more stories. That’s why the #MyTrustStory contest was born. We identified one loyal customer and visited his beef operation to capture his real experience with Kent Feeds. Then, we used the content we gathered to develop web articles and a series of short videos to post on social media. All the while, asking followers to submit their own #MyTrustStories. And they came pouring in.
Now Kent’s social team (that’s us) has a huge library of authentic customer quotes, species photos, and videos to use on their page and in brand materials for months to come. #ThatsOurStory
